The golden sunburst dial is in minty condition, with the shield Tudor logo and golden strip hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. The golden baton hands have the original lume and are in very fine condition. The curved aperture at 12 o’clock shows the quick-set weekday in English and the cyclops window at 3 o’clock shows the quick-set date. The quick-set functions should only be used with the hands at the bottom half of the dial.
The 18K yellow gold fluted bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with batman lugs and the original screw down Rolex crown is in very fine condition, with light overall wear. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in very fine condition with just a few marks.
The original two tone bracelet is in very fine condition with light overall wear. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.
Inside the watch, the high grade ETA 2834-2 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
