Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Genève from 1972. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a black script Omega logo and lettering and barely any marks. It has steel bar hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double at 12 o’clock. The faceted baton hour and minute hands are in fine condition, with the original lume and black contrast intact. The seconds hand is painted black. The black framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown to the outermost position. This should only be done when the hands are in the lower bottom of the dial.
The angular stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in excellent condition, with barely any marks on neither the brushed face nor the polished sides. The stainless steel back has a brushed center and a polished rim, showing only very light overall wear.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 613 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in January 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
This is a very timeless and classic design that still manages to be typical of the 70’s. The watch looks magnificent on the wrist and will serve you well as part of a regular rotation, while also being a great and understated watch for formal occasions.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
