Omega Pie Pan Constellation Chronometer VWS-2526

Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Pie Pan Chronometer from 1969. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. Some of the hour markers show some wear, mostly on the upper half of the dial. There is a mark on the dial just above the center. The dauphine hands with the original black contrast are in fine condition with a few wear marks visible upon close scrutiny. The cyclops eye in the original plexiglass shows the steel framed date window at 3 o’clock. The date can be semi-quick set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. This should only be done with the hands at the lower half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in very fine condition with just a few wear marks, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a crisp and clean Geneva observatory medallion and just a few marks. The case has been restored.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
