Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1966. The crosshair silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star and barely any marks. It has faceted steel bar hour markers, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny air bubbles around the dial, none of which are really visible to the naked eye. The dauphine hands are in fine condition, showing light wear under magnification. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi-quick set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable at around 2 and 10 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
