Here is a wonderful and rare, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1968 in an ultraslim version. The brushed silver dial is in fine condition, with a black script Omega logo and emblem steel strip hour markers with black contrast. There are some marks around the edge of the dial at around 11 to 2 o’clock, which look less prominent in real life than in the photos. The black fils hands are in very fine condition. Note that this reference does not have a seconds hand, in order to make the watch as slim as possible.
The brushed stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 3 and 5 o’clock. The very slim brushed stainless steel case with the original crown and integrated lugs is in fine condition with light overall wear such as nick on the face at around 5 o’clock. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean steel Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with a few marks of wear.
The original stainless steel bracelet is in fine condition with only light overall wear. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.
Inside the watch, Omega’s 712 movement, the thinnest automatic movement Omega ever made, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
