Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1968 in an ultraslim version. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a black script Omega logo and emblem and slim strip hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. There are a few bubbles around the dial, most pronounced at the 11 o’clock marker. There is also a mark of wear at the edge of the dial at around 10 o’clock. The black stick hands are in very fine condition. Note that this reference does not have a seconds hand, in order to make the watch as slim as possible.
The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition, with some overall wear. The very slim stainless steel case with the original crown and short, hook-shaped lugs is in fine condition, with some overall wear mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean steel Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with a few marks.
The original Milanese bracelet is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. It is large enough for big wrists.
Inside the watch, Omega’s 712 movement, the thinnest automatic movement Omega ever made, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in May 2023 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
