Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1994. The silver guilloche dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and Constellation star and black lettering. It has rounded steel hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. There is a small mark to the right of the Omega logo and at the 2 minute mark. The dauphine hands with the original lume are in very fine condition with a couple of tiny marks. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial. When the crown is pulled all the way out, the hack stops the seconds hand for more accurate time setting.
The radially brushed stainless steel bezel has Roman numeral hour markers and the polished griffin claws of the Manhattan style Constellation series. The stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs has a brushed face and sides and is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The brushed stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean Constellation medallion at its center and is in very fine condition with light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The original hinged stainless steel bracelet is in very fine visual condition and is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade caliber 1120 beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
This watch reflects the newer design language of the Constellation and it looks decidedly more modern on the wrist. This is a great daily driver that is also perfect for those special occasions.
