Here is a fabulous, all original IWC dress watch from 1970 in an unusual reference. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with the block IWC logo and barely any marks. It has faceted steel bar hour markers, double at the poles. The faceted fils hands are in very fine condition.
The C-shape ultra slim stainless steel case with the original crown and long lugs is in very fine condition, with a brushed face and polished sides showing only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition with light overall wear.
The watch comes on an after market stainless steel bracelet of good quality.
Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 403 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
