Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Genéve from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and steel bar hour markers with black contrast. There is a small mark at the 7 minute mark and a few tiny marks around the date window at 3 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The stainless steel case with the original crown and integrated lugs has a brushed face and polished sides and is in fine condition, with a few mark towards the lugs and on each case side. The brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a few marks of wear.
The original Omega steel bracelet is in fine visual condition with some stretching, showing a few wear marks mostly on the double fold clasp. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist, as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm by moving a spring bar in the clasp.
Inside the watch, Omega’s wonderful 613 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
