Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Constellation Pie Pan Chronometer from 1966. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has beautifully detailed arrow tail hour markers at the poles and faceted golden bar hour markers in between, all with lume dots at the outer ends. There are a couple of tiny discoloration spots at the edge of the chapter ring at around 1 and 10 o’clock. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable at around  2 and 11 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and very unusual 14K hallmarked gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly towards the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a well preserved gold Geneva observatory medallion and a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original gold plated Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Constellations are in themselves highly sought after and this wonderful unpolished golden version is a real find. This watch looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
