Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1973. The black dial has a web of cracks in what is called a craquelure pattern, and looks spectacular. It is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem and faceted steel hour markers, twin markers at 12 o’clock. At certain angles, the craquelure pattern can be seen. The baton hands are in fine condition, with a few marks visible under close inspection. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock shows the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The squarish stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in very fine condition, with a brushed face and sides, separated by a polished bevel. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a well preserved hippocampus logo at its center and barely any marks. The case has been refinished.
The original Omega steel bracelet is in very fine visual condition with some stretching. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1011 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
Craquelure dials are rare to find and this one looks stunning. With the overall great condition and the original bracelet, this is truly a watch you will love to have on your wrist.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
