Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1962. The silver sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. At the poles are beautiful golden arrow tail hour markers, with faceted golden bar hour markers in between, all with black onyx inlay. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial, none of which are really individually visible but which makes the dial seem to sparkle. The golden dauphine hands are in fine condition with the original black contrast intact albeit slightly degraded.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around 12 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with only light overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved gold Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with only light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original gold plated Omega buckle in good condition, showing a little flaking.

Inside the watch, Omega’s legendary 551 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Constellation has been one of the finest watch series ever since it was introduced in 1952, and this watch continues that wonderful legacy. This is a watch you will look forward to putting on in the morning.
