Here is an awesome and rare, all original Omega Constellation C Shape from 1971. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem and barely any marks. It has flat steel hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. The black baton hour and minute hands with the original lume are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. Quick-setting the date should always be done with the hands at the lower half of the dial.
The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 4 and 7 o’clock. The stainless steel C shape case with the original crown has a brushed face and sides and is in very fine condition apart from a nick at the lower right lug where the lug meets the bezel. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean Geneva observatory medallion and is in very fine condition with light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The integrated stainless steel brick wall bracelet is in very fine visual condition, with some stretching and light overall wear. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1011 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
The Constellation is one of the most recognizable and sought after vintage watches, and the wonderful dial and original bracelet on this C shape version makes it really stand out on the wrist. This is a great daily driver you will love to wear.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
