Here is a fabulous, all original Longines Ultra-Chron from 1975 in a large size for the era. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Longines logo and Ultra-Chron emblem and strip steel hour markers with black contrast, wider markers at the poles. There are a couple of small marks just below the center of the dial towards 4 o’clock. The baton hands with the original black contrast are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 4:30 displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly turning the hands through midnight, then backwards through 22:30 and then through midnight again.

The stainless steel cushion shaped case with embedded lugs and the original crown is in fine condition, with a sunburst face and polished sides. It shows some overall wear, most pronounced on the face at the edge around 3 and 10 o’clock but also with some marks on both case sides. The stainless steel case back with the Ultra-Chron medallion at the center is in fine condition, with light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel Milanese bracelet is in very fine condition, with a golden Longines logo on the fold clasp and only light overall wear. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist.

Inside the watch, Longines legendary 431 movement beats strongly at the then insane rate of 36000 bph with an accuracy of about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
