Here is a spectacular and all original early 2^nd King Seiko from 1963. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a golden Seiko logo and faceted golden bar hour markers, double at 12 o’clock. There is a tiny mark close to the 10 o’clock hour marker. The faceted dauphine hands are in very fine condition with a couple of tiny marks. The hack stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out to set the time.

The 14K gold filled bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The 14K gold filled case with the original KS crown and elegantly faceted lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, both at the lugs and the case sides. The 14K gold filled case back has a well preserved gold Seiko medallion and is in very fine condition, with a few marks. It carries an engraving showing the watch was originally presented as a work award. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Seiko’s high grade King Seiko movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
