Here is a spectacular, all original 2nd King Seiko from 1968. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with barely any visible marks. It has a golden Seiko logo and faceted golden bar hour markers, double at 12 o’clock. The faceted dauphine hands are in very fine condition with a couple of tiny marks. The hack stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out to set the time.
The 14K gold filled bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notable at around 12 and 6 o’clock. The 14K gold filled case with the original KS crown and elegantly faceted lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, both at the lugs and the case sides. The 14K gold filled case back has a well preserved gold Seiko medallion and is in fine condition, with a few marks.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.
Inside the watch, Seiko’s high grade 44A movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in January 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
