Here is a wonderful, all original 2^nd generation King Seiko from 1966. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Seiko logo and the script KS logo below the dial center. It has faceted steel hour markers, double at 12 o’clock. There is a small spot at the 7 o’clock hour marker and some wear around the 6 o’clock hour marker as well as around the Seiko logo. The faceted dauphine hands are in very fine condition, with a few marks visible upon closer inspection. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set should only be used with the hands at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in ver fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most noticeable at around 3, 5 and 8 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and heavy, faceted lugs is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back has a worn gold shield KS medallion and is in good condition with some overall wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Seiko’s high grade 4402A King Seiko movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in July 2022 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
