Here is a wonderful, all original Jaeger-LeCoultre dress watch from 1974. The brushed blue dial is in fine condition, with the JLC logo at 12 o’clock and steel strip hour markers. There are a few marks around the dial such as a couple of small marks around the JLC logo and the center of the dial, as well as at the edge of the dial at around 12 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand in order to keep the profile very slim.
The 18K white gold case with beautifully shaped lugs and the original crown is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notably a mark at the left case side. The brushed 18K white gold case back is in very fine condition, with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.
Inside the watch, LeCoultre’s caliber 818/3 beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2023 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
