Here is a wonderful, all original Jaeger-LeCoultre dress watch from 1974. The brushed silver dial is in fine condition, with the JLC logo at 12 o’clock and black Roman numeral hour markers. There are very few marks on the dial itself but some wear along the rim, most prominent at around 6-8 o’clock. This looks more pronounced in the photos than to the naked eye. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with a central black contrast stripe. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand in order to keep the profile very slim.
The stainless steel watch case with beautifully shaped lugs and the original crown is in very fine condition, with a brushed face and horizontally brushed sides. The brushed stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a few small marks on the polished slant.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.
Inside the watch, LeCoultre’s caliber 818/3 beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in July 2023 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
