Here is a stunning, all original Tudor Prince OysterDate from 1968. The champagne sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a golden Tudor shield logo at 12 o’clock and golden bar hour markers with black contrast. The faceted baton hands with the original black contrast are in very fine condition. At 3 o’clock, the Cyclops eye displays the quick-set date. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The gold plated bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The gold plated case with the original screw down Rolex crown is in very fine condition, with a brushed face and polished sides. It shows only light overall wear. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in very fine condition with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Tudor buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of ETA’s high grade 2784 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Prince Oysterdate has that timeless design that looked as great when the watch was new some 58 years ago as it does today. This watch looks fabulous on the wrist with its fabulous dial and overall great condition and it will serve you well for many years to come.
