Here is a fabulous, all original Tudor Prince Oysterdate from 1991 with the original box and papers. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with the steel Tudor shield logo at 12 o’clock, black lettering and barely any marks. It has steel strip hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. There is some slight discoloration around the center of the dial, which isn’t visible to the naked eye. The faceted baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The original plexiglass crystal is in very fine condition. At 3 o’clock, the cyclops eye displays the quick-set date. Quick-setting the date should only be done with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The fluted solid 18K gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original screw down Rolex crown is in fine condition, with a radially brushed face and polished sides. It shows a few small marks towards the lugs and more marks on the case sides, in particular on the right side. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in very fine condition. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original steel Jubilee bracelet is in fine condition visually with some marks mostly on the double fold clasp with the Tudor logo, and shows light stretching. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of ETA’s high grade 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
