Here is a fabulous, all original Technos Sky Diver from 1976. The black dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Technos logo and barely any visible marks. It has large lume wedge and rectangular hour markers at the poles and lume circles in between. Slight degradation to the lume can be seen upon scrutiny. The wide mercedes hands are in fine condition with some degradation to and around the lume. The seconds hand has the characteristic lume filled circle at the tip. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial. The hack stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out.

The rotatable stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear and faded color. The large stainless case with the original screw down crown and heavy lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, most pronounced at the case sides. The crown shows slight wear and discoloration. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a well preserved Technos anchor logo in the middle and some overall wear.

The watch comes on an after market rubber diver strap and buckle of good quality. Note that vintage diver’s watches are not suitable for actual diving!

Inside the watch, the ETA 2783 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Sky Diver is perhaps Technos’ best known model, with its bold and rugged design providing reliably high performance. This is a watch that looks great on the wrist and it’s a perfect daily driver.
