Here is a wonderful, all original Rolex Precision from 1973 in a very slim version. The grey sunburst dial is in fine condition, with the rare flat Rolex crown at 12 o’clock and faceted steel hour wedge markers, wider markers at the poles. There is some discoloration around the top edge of the dial and a few spots of aging scattered around the dial. These are all much less visible to the naked eye than they look in up close photos. The baton hands are in fine condition.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notably at around 9 o’clock. The slim stainless steel case with drop shaped lugs and the original crown is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at the lugs but also on the left case side. The case back has a Rolex crown engraving and is in fine condition with a few notable marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Rolex’s high grade 1225 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
