Here is a fabulous, all original Rolex Air-King from 1997. The blue sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with the Rolex crown at 12 o’clock and multifaceted steel hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. There is a spot close to the 4 o’clock hour marker and close to the 8 o’clock hour marker as well as a few other small spots scattered around the dial. The faceted baton hands with the original lume are in very fine condition. The hack stops the watch when the crown is pulled out so the time can be set accurately.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with just a few marks of wear. The stainless steel case is in excellent condition with a radially brushed face and polished sides, with the original screw-down crown working as it should. The stainless steel case back is in excellent condition. The case has been refinished.

The original stainless steel Oyster bracelet is in very fine condition with little stretching and just a few marks of wear. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Rolex’s high grade 3000 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
