Here is a fabulous and fully original Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark II from 1969. The black dial is in very fine condition, with a white script Omega logo and lettering and barely any marks of wear. It has three silver subdials at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, respectively displaying the minute counter, the hour counter and running seconds. The dial has yellow lume strip hour markers with white painted stripes between for minutes and seconds divisions. The white baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact albeit somewhat degraded. The black inner tachymetre bezel is in very fine condition.
The large stainless steel case with the original crown and pushers has a brushed face and sides, with polished bevels separating them. It is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved hippocampus engraving in its centre and some overall wear.
The original bracelet is in very fine condition, with little stretching and light overall wear. It is fitted with an extension piece, making it big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by about 2cm by removing the extension piece.
Inside the watch, Omega’s legendary 861 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
The Mark II was a different take on the Speedmaster Professional, with a different case design but the same movement and dial design. The great overall condition and original bracelet on this one makes it a watch you will love to wear and admire on your wrist.
