Here is a spectacular, all original Omega Seamaster from 1969 in a jumbo version. The brushed blue dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and white script. The darker blue chapter ring has steel block hour markers with central lume stripes. The rehaut has a painted minute track. There is a tiny spot of wear just to the right of the Omega logo and some wear can be seen on the hour markers under close scrutiny. The baton hands are in fine condition, with the original lume and black contrast intact. The seconds hand is bright blue. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be quick-set when the crown is pulled out to the middle position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial. The hack feature stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled to set the hands, allowing more accurate time setting.

The stainless steel bezel/watch face is in excellent condition, with a lovely sunburst finish. The large stainless steel case with the original crown and integrated lugs is in very fine condition with barely any marks. The stainless steel case back is in excellent condition, with an outer sunburst pattern at the sloped edge, a brushed pattern in the center and a crisp and clean hippocampus logo. The case has been restored.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1002 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
