Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Seamaster De Ville from 1965. The silver crosshair sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem. It has wedged steel hour markers at the poles and faceted steel hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends in between. There are a few marks scattered around the dial, most notably around the center of the dial and in particular just to the left of center. The baton hands are in fine condition with the original lume intact, showing some overall wear. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable at around 10 and 12 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and slightly spread lugs is in fine condition with light overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a crisp and clean hippocampus logo and a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original steel Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 562 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

The Seamaster De Ville is one of our absolute favorite watches, and the wonderful dial and great overall condition of this one makes it something special. This is a very versatile watch that will be a perfect daily driver and will add nicely to a regular rotation schedule.
