Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Semaster Cosmic from 1969. The navy blue sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and white lettering. It has steel block hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, wider markers at the poles. The chapter ring has white stripes marking the hours and minutes. There are a few faint scratches on the dial around the center of the dial, most notable one going from the 7 o‘clock hour marker towards the center. These faint scratches cannot really be seen with the naked eye. The baton hands with the original black contrast and lume are in fine condition, with some corrosion visible on the seconds hand. The date is displayed in the steel framed window at 3 o'clock and can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The cushion shaped stainless steel case with the original crown and thick beveled integrated lugs is in fine condition with a sunburst face and polished sides. It shows some overall wear on the face towards the lugs and also light wear on the case sides. The brushed case back has a slightly worn hippocampus engraving and a few deem marks towards the lower right lug in the photos. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel bracelet is in very fine visual condition with light stretching and light overall wear, mostly on the double fold clasp. It is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 565 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
