Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Seamaster from 1972 in a very rare reference. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo and black lettering. It has faceted steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial and also some wear along the edge of the dial at around 2, 5 and 11 o’clock. None of these are really visible to the naked eye. The baton hands are in fine condition, with the original black contrast intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial. The hack feature stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled to set the hands, allowing more accurate time setting.

The wide stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear. The brushed stainless steel case with the original crown and heavy lugs is in very fine condition apart from some pitting marks around the crown on the right side .The circular brushed stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean Hippocampus medallion at its center and is in very fine condition, with just a few marks of wear and age.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality. 

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1011 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
