Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Seamaster from 1968 in a rather uncommon reference. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition with a steel Omega logo and barely any marks. It has faceted steel hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. There is a small discoloration spot close to the 11 o’clock hour marker. The dauphine hands have the original black contrast and are in fine condition with some corrosion showing.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most noticeable at around 6 o’clock. The slim stainless steel case with the original crown and bold, faceted lugs is in fine condition, with some wear, mostly towards the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean hippocampus logo at its center and is in fine condition with a few marks and scratches. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original stainless steel bead of rice bracelet is in fine visual condition, with slight stretching and light overall wear. It is big enough for moderately large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 552 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
