Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Pie Pan Chronometer from 1969. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. There are a couple of marks just above the center of the dial, which are difficult to see with the naked eye. The dauphine hands with the original black contrast are in fine condition with a few wear marks visible upon close scrutiny. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 6, 10 and 12 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and the characteristic dog leg lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, mostly at the lugs and slightly rounded edges. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a well preserved Geneva observatory medallion and some overall wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
