Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1963 in a very large size for the era. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted golden bar hour markers, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion bubbles around the dial, none of which are really visible to the naked eye. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 20:30 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear. The jumbo sized gold capped case with the original crown and lovely teardrop lugs is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most visible at the tips of the lugs. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved gold Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with a few marks and scratches. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
