Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Pie Pan Constellation Chronometer from 1966. The silver sunburst Pie Pan dial has a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. At the poles are faceted golden bar hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots on the dial, giving it a wonderful vintage look. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition with the original lume intact. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 20:30 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around 2, 6 and 10 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with a few marks, mostly at the lugs. On the upper left lug is a Portuguese import stamp, showing the watch was sold new in Portugal. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and a scatter of small marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Pie Pan Constellations are in themselves highly sought after and this version with that warm golden glow is a real find. This watch looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
