Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Genéve from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and steel wedge hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The stainless steel case with the original crown and subtle crab lugs is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear, mostly at the lugs. The brushed stainless steel case back is in very fine condition with a few marks of wear. It carries an inscription showing the watch was originally presented as a work recognition award.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.
Inside the watch, Omega’s wonderful 613 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in March 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
