Here is a near mint, all original Omega Genève from 1973. The brushed golden dial is in excellent condition, with a black script Omega logo and lettering and barely any marks. It has faceted golden hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double at 12 o’clock. The golden baton hands are in fine condition, with the original black contrast and lume intact. The hack feature stops the seconds hand when setting the time, to allow accurate time setting. The black framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be quick-set with the crown pulled out into the middle position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The gold plated bezel is in very fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around 3 and 9 o’clock. The gold plated case with a brushed face and sides has the original crown and embedded lugs and is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The brushed stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with an engraved Omega logo and just a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.
Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1012 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in August 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
The Genève is known for timeless and clean designs, and the fabulous overall condition really makes this one a pleasure to put on your wrist. This is a watch that is good enough as a daily driver while also having that classic look and feel that makes it great for those special occasions.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
