Here is a wonderful, all original Omega De Ville from 1973. The brushed silver dial has a steel Omega logo and is in very fine condition with barely any marks. It has steel strip hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. The baton hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume and black contrast intact. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock shows the quick-set date, which is accessed by pulling the crown out to the middle position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent a nick at around 10 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and slightly spread lugs is in fine condition with some marks of wear both towards the lugs and in particular on the left case side. The stainless steel case back is in very fine condition, with a brushed pattern and the De Ville engraving at its centre, showing some marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 1012 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
