Here is a wonderful, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1963. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. At the poles it has golden arrow tail hour markers and in between are faceted golden chevron hour markers, all with black onyx inlay. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial, none of which are really visible to the naked eye but make the dial seem to sparkle. The golden dauphine hands are in very fine condition, with the original black contrast intact. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable a nick at around  1 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and gold capped dog leg lugs is in fine condition with just a few marks, perhaps most visible a scratch at the lower left lug. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a well preserved gold Geneva observatory medallion and some wear.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade 561 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Constellations are in themselves highly sought after and this wonderful golden version is a real find. This watch looks great on the wrist and goes well with both formal and informal wear.
