Here is an amazing, very rare and all original Omega Constellation Pie Pan Chronometer from 1968. The brushed silver pie pan dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star and barely any marks. The silver chapter ring has faceted steel bar hour markers with black contrast, a wider marker at 12 o’clock. Under magnification, slight wear can be seen on the black contrast on some of the hour markers. The dauphine hands with the original black contrast intact are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around 2, 3 and 8 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in very fine condition with a radially brushed face and brushed sides. It shows only light overall wear, perhaps most pronounced along the sharp edges on the top of the left case side. The stainless steel case back has a well preserved Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with a few wear and stain marks. Note that this reference has a one-piece (monocoque) case, which is very rarely seen in the Constellation series. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The original Omega stainless steel Milanese bracelet is in very fine condition, with little stretching and light overall wear. It is large enough for moderately big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist.
Inside the watch, perhaps the best watch movement ever made, Omega’s caliber 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
This rare Constellation looks just stunning on the wrist, with the minty dial, original bracelet and great overall condition. This is not only an extraordinary gift for yourself or a loved one, it is also a great investment that will increase nicely in value over the decades.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
