Here is a fabulous, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer from 1966. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a golden Omega logo, emblem, and Constellation star. It has faceted golden bar hour markers with black onyx inlay and lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. There is a small scuff just left of the word “Constellation”. The golden baton hands have the original lume intact and are in very fine condition. The golden framed window at 3 o’clock shows the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The solid 14K gold bezel is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent at around 2, 3 and 7 o’clock. The gold capped case with the original partially hidden crown and straight lugs is in fine condition with some marks of wear both at the lugs and case sides. Some staining of both the gold and the steel can be seen at the lugs and the underside of the case. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean gold Geneva observatory medallion and is in fine condition with some marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Omega buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, Omega’s fantastic 564 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
