Here is a fabulous and rare, all original Omega Constellation Chronometer Türler from 1966 in an very slim version. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a black script Omega logo and emblem and star and barely any marks. It has wide steel hour markers with black contrast and lume dots at the outer ends, double at 12 o’clock. The black fils hands are in very fine condition with the original contrast and lume intact. The seconds hand is painted black.
The stainless steel bezel has a subtle sunburst finish and is in fine condition with light overall wear, perhaps most notably at the outside of the bezel at 9 o’clock. The very slim stainless steel case with the original crown and batman lugs has a brushed face and brushed sides separated by a polished bevel and is in very fine condition. It shows a few marks at the lugs and also at the sides, perhaps most notable a small nick at the left case side at around 9 o’clock. The radially brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a couple of notable scratches around the rim from attempts at opening the case without the proper tools or skills.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.
Inside the watch, Omega’s 712 movement, the thinnest automatic movement Omega ever made, beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
