Here is a wonderful, all original Jaeger-LeCoultre from 1977 in an ultra-thin version. The white dial is in fine condition, with a black painted JLC logo and black Roman numeral hour markers. There are barely any marks on the dial itself but there is some discoloration along the rim of the dial which is not really visible to the naked eye. The black leaf hands are in very fine condition. Note that this watch does not have a seconds hand in order to keep the profile ultra-thin. The window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. This function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The ultra-slim stainless steel case with the original crown and slender lugs is in fine condition with some marks of wear throughout, both at lugs and the case sides. The brushed stainless steel case back is in fine condition, showing some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original JLC buckle in fine condition.

Inside the watch, JLC’s fabulous 900 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in February 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Ultra-slim watches are perhaps the ultimate dress style, fitting nicely under sleeves and looking larger than their diameter due to the slim profile. This is a great watch for those special occasions while it also is perfect as part of a regular rotation schedule.
