Here is a fantastic, all original IWC dress watch from 1967. The brushed silver dial is in excellent condition with barely any marks. It has faceted steel wedge hour markers, double markers at the poles. At 12 o’clock is the IWC logos and the co-signature of Türler a large Swiss jeweler chain. There is a small mark just below the center of the dial and also at the edge of the dial at around 2 o’clock. The sword hands are in very fine condition, with the original lume intact. The hack stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out to time-setting mode, to facilitate more accurate time setting. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 23:45 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original fish crown and faceted heavy lugs is in very fine condition, with only light overall wear. The case back is in excellent condition, with a brushed center and a polished rim and some overall wear. The case has been refinished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, IWC’s superb 8541 movement with the Pellaton winding system beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
