Here is a fabulous Ulysse Nardin dress watch from 1974. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Ulysse Nardin anchor logo and steel bar hour markers with black contrast, double at 12 o’clock. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion spots around the dial, none of which are really visible to the naked eye. The tapered baton hands are in fine condition with the original black contrast intact. At 3 o’clock, the steel framed window displays the date which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 20:30 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The slim stainless steel case with the original crown and long, curved lugs is in very fine condition, with a few marks of wear, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with the UN anchor medallion showing some overall wear and in particular one notable scratch. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

Inside the watch, Ulysse Nardin’s high grade N11HB movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in November 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
