Here is an awesome, all original Ulysse Nardin Chronometer from the 1970’s. The brushed amber dial has taken on a unique and magnificent patina. It is in fine condition, with the steel UN anchor and white script logo. The dial has faceted steel block hour markers with black contrast, twin markers at the poles. The baton hands are in very fine condition. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The large and very 70’s square-ish stainless steel case with the original crown and embedded lugs is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most prominent a couple of marks towards the lower lugs on the watch face. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean UN anchor medallion in its center and a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market steel bracelet of good quality.

Inside the watch, Ulysse Nardin’s beautiful high grade N11KJ movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in December 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

This is a real time traveler piece from the 1970’s, with the imposing case and fabulous dial. It is a watch that makes a big presence on your wrist and it is a great conversation starter.
