Here is a wonderful and rare Ulysse Nardin Jubilé 4000 from 1963. The silver sunburst dial is in fine condition, with a steel anchor logo and faceted steel hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends, twin markers at 12 o’clock. It has IWC style steel spheres marking the minutes. There is a scatter of tiny corrosion bubbles around the dial. The watch was likely unused for a long period of time as there are discolored imprints of the hands towards 12 and 5 o’clock. The dauphine hands have the original lume intact and are in fine condition with light wear visible upon close inspection. The seconds hand has a lovely leaf shaped counterweight. At 3 o’clock, the steel framed window displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 20:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary.

The slim stainless steel case is in fine condition with some overall wear, such as towards the lugs at the face and on the right case side. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a crisp and clean beautiful UN and waterproof engraving. It shows a few scratches around the rim. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Ulysse Nardin’s high grade N74 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
