Here is a fabulous, all original Ulysse Nardin high beat dress watch from 1969. The brushed silver dial is in very fine condition, with a steel UN anchor logo and steel bar hour markers with black contrast. There is slight wear around the upper edge of the dial. The tapered baton hands are in fine condition with light wear visible under magnification. The hack feature stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out to time setting position. At 3 o’clock, the steel framed window displays the quick-set date through the cyclops eye in the original plexiglass crystal. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The wide stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most notable at around 5 o’clock. The stainless steel case with long, curved lugs and the original crown is in very fine condition, with a few marks throughout, mostly at the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition, with a radial brushed finish and a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Ulysse Nardin’s high grade NB11QU movement beats at the then insane rate of 36000 bhp to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in April 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
