Here is a fantastic, all original Tudor Tiger Chronograph from 1999. The rare silver côtes de Genève dial is in excellent condition, with a raised shield Tudor logo at 2 o’clock and raised black Arabic numeral hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. The dial has three sunken subdials; at 6 o’clock is the chronograph hour counter, at 9 o’clock is the running seconds and at 12 o’clock is the chronograph minute counter. The central black hour and minute hands are in very fine condition with the original lume intact. The central chronograph seconds counter is red with a leaf counterweight. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The cyclops eye over the date window at 3 o’clock shows the quick-set date. This function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel has a tachymeter scale and is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case has a radially brushed face and polished sides and is in excellent condition with barely any marks. The screw down chronograph pushers and crown with the Tudor shield logo screws down as they should. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Tudor inscription, and is in very fine condition with a few marks of wear. The case has been refinished.

The original Tudor bracelet is in very fine visual condition with little stretching. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of the 7750 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.

Tudor has made some very memorable chronographs over the years and this one ranks up there with all of them, being a clear sibling of the Big Block. It’s a distinct design that manages to be both bold and classy and it’s a watch that will serve you well for many years to come.
