Here is a fabulous and very rare, all original Tudor Prince OysterDate from 1969. The silver sunburst dial is in excellent condition, with a shield Tudor logo at 12 o’clock and faceted steel hour markers with black contrast. The black baton hands are in fine condition. At 3 o’clock, the black framed window displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by first turning the hands through midnight so the date changes, then immediately turning the hands backwards to 21:00 and then forward through midnight again. Repeat as necessary. This function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.
The square solid 18K white gold case with the original Rolex crown and straight lugs is in fine condition. It has a polished face and brushed sides and shows light overall wear. The solid 18K white gold case back has a brushed center and polished slopes, and is in fine condition with a few marks of wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.
The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the original Rolex buckle in fine condition.
Inside the watch, Tudor’s high grade 2555 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-12 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in June 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
Although the design is unusual for a Tudor, this watch still carries the elegance the brand is so known for. This is a watch that will serve its next owner very well for many years to come will increasing nicely in value.
Our watches are delivered in a luxury wooden watch box, fully serviced with a 12 month warranty that covers the mechanical functioning of the watch under normal use. We offer 14 days full return rights and are very proud of our reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
