Here is a fabulous, all original Tudor Prince OysterDate from 1988. The silver linen dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Tudor shield logo at 12 o’clock and black lettering. It has steel bar hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. There are a couple of aging spots to the right of the shield logo and slight wear along the edge of the dial at around 4, 8 and 11 o’clock. The baton hands with the original lume intact are in very fine condition, with a few small marks visible under magnification. At 3 o’clock, the Cyclops eye displays the quick-set date. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in very fine condition with only light overall wear. The stainless steel case with the original screw down Rolex crown and elegant lugs is in very fine condition, with a radially brushed face and polished sides showing just a few marks both at the lugs and on the sides. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in fine condition with some wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The watch comes on an after market leather strap and buckle of good quality.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of the ETA 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in October 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
