Here is a wonderful, all original Tudor Prince OysterDate from 1989. The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Tudor shield logo at 12 o’clock and black lettering. It has steel bar hour markers with lume dots at the outer ends. There are a few aging spots around the dial, somewhat more concentrated around its center. The baton hands with the original lume intact are in fine condition, with a few small marks visible under magnification. At 3 o’clock, the Cyclops eye displays the quick-set date. When the crown is pulled out to set the time or date, the hack feature stops the seconds hand so the time can be set precisely. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial.

The stainless steel bezel is in fine condition with only light overall wear, perhaps most notable at around 3 and 12 o’clock. The stainless steel case with the original screw down Rolex crown and elegant lugs is in very fine condition, with a radially brushed face and polished sides showing just a few small marks. The case back has the Oyster ridges and Rolex inscription, and is in very fine condition with a few marks. The case does not appear to ever have been polished.

The original steel Jubilee bracelet is in very fine visual condition, with some stretching and just a few scratches and marks. It is large enough for big wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp.

Inside the watch, Tudor’s version of the ETA 2824 movement beats strongly and accurately to within about +-10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2026 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning.
